The quiz taker conversion rate is a benchmark you can edit, and the AOV uplift is applied automatically from your sector; both come from real RevenueHunt data and your store will vary. Visitors, average order value, and current conversion rate are your own numbers. This is an estimate, not a guarantee, and actual results depend on your store, traffic, and quiz.

How the calculator works

The model is deliberately simple and honest. It takes the share of your visitors who complete the quiz, converts them at the quiz taker rate, and compares that against what the same visitors would have done at your current site conversion rate. The gap is the estimated extra revenue.

Based on the data collected across more than 45 million real quiz responses, 5.5% of shoppers who complete a RevenueHunt quiz (about 1 in 18) place a tracked order. Against a typical 2% store conversion rate, that is 2.75x, about 275% of what a store usually converts at. We pre-fill that figure and let you edit it.

We also looked at order value. Compared like for like, within the same store, quiz orders run about 10% higher than non-quiz orders. The uplift is strongest in categories like skincare, beauty and supplements, and close to flat in a few others. The calculator applies a conservative, data-backed uplift based on the sector you pick, so you do not have to guess.

The calculator uses your own average order value and ignores the email leads and zero-party data a quiz captures, which compound over time, so it tends to understate the full value.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the quiz conversion rate come from?

It is a benchmark from real RevenueHunt data. Across our quiz responses, 5.5% of shoppers who complete a quiz (about 1 in 18) go on to place a tracked order. The field is pre-filled with that benchmark, and you can edit it to match your own store.

How is the extra revenue calculated?

The calculator takes the share of your visitors who complete the quiz, applies the quiz taker conversion rate to them, and compares that against what those same visitors would convert at your current site rate. The difference, multiplied by your average order value, is the estimated extra revenue.

Do quiz shoppers spend more per order?

On average, yes, compared like for like. Within the same store, orders that came through a quiz run about 10% higher than orders that did not. It is not the same everywhere: strongest in categories like skincare, beauty and supplements, close to flat in others. The calculator factors this in automatically based on the sector you pick.

Is this based on real data or made-up multipliers?

Real data. The quiz conversion benchmark is measured across more than 45 million quiz responses and over $1.5 billion in merchant revenue generated. Your visitors, average order value, and current conversion rate are your own numbers. The output is an estimate, not a guarantee.

Is the calculator free to use?

Yes. It is free and ungated, no email required. RevenueHunt itself also has a free plan with 100 quiz responses a month, so you can measure the real lift on your own store.
