OCTOBER 2025 – Code validation, chart blocks, and major analytics improvements.

31-10-2025   Product Updates

One of our biggest improvements rounds this year — focused on reliability, developer experience, AI performance, analytics stability, and better control over quiz customization.

We introduced powerful new validation tools, expanded our AI model support, enhanced chart and UI customization, and resolved several critical bugs affecting embedded shops and analytics.

Highlights

  • Syntax validation for custom code – Custom JavaScript, Liquid, and HTML blocks now include real-time syntax validation with helpful error messages and guidance. This prevents broken layouts, invalid Liquid expressions, and JavaScript errors before they ever reach your customers.

  • OpenRouter AI model integration – We expanded our AI engine with OpenRouter, giving merchants access to more model options, faster responses, and improved quiz generation, explanations, and assistance throughout the app.

  • Customizable chart blocks (new feature) – You can now add fully customizable chart blocks inside quizzes and results pages. Bar charts, radar charts, and gauge charts all support brand-aligned styling, including colors, accents, and visual emphasis.

  • Improved analytics tracking & privacy – Quizzes now handle customer privacy preferences more accurately, with deeper integration into the Shopify Customer Privacy API. This improves data consistency and tracking reliability in embedded contexts.

  • Trial expiration notifications – Merchants now see clearer visual indicators when their trial period is ending or has expired, with dynamic upgrade messaging to help prevent interruptions in quiz performance.

  • Enhanced Copilot state management – Copilot now retains context and conversation state across sessions, resulting in more natural continuation and fewer resets during extended quiz-building workflows.

  • Improved custom code editors – CSS, JavaScript and Liquid/HTML editors received significant usability upgrades, including guidelines, AI-supported suggestions, and better error handling.

  • Critical bug fix: infinite loop in analytics – We resolved a major issue where the analytics card could enter an infinite request loop on certain Shopify stores. This fix greatly improves reliability in the embedded Shopify environment.

Conclusion

October was a major stability and capability release — improving everything from AI features and code validation to privacy compliance, analytics accuracy, and developer experience. These changes make the app more powerful, more customizable, and more reliable for merchants across all platforms.
